Triandafillou, Vasiliki June 24, 1930 - February 12, 2019

Vasiliki Katsivelos Triandafillou passed away on February 12, 2019, in New York City. A lifelong New Yorker, Vee was born in 1930 and was a proud graduate of Hunter College. Vee was a high school English teacher at McBurney School in Manhattan for many years. She leaves behind her sons, Gregory Triandis of Bronxville, New York and Peter Triandafillou of Bangor, Maine. Vee was a most beloved Yia Yia to Sean and Nora Triandis and Catherine and Laura Triandafillou and an outstanding mother-in-law and friend to Sheila Murphy and Teresea Triandafillou. Vee was survived by her sister-in-law and friend, Elizabeth Katsivelos, and a multitude of other friends and admirers. She was predeceased by her husband, Titos Triandafillou, DDS and her parents, Sofia and Nicholas Katsivelos and brother, Spero Katsivelos, DDS.
