I have known Lori since 1989 when I first started working at Lawrence Hospital. I can still see her beautiful face, her flawless golden hair and her classy style of dressing. Whenever she spoke, her words were always meaningful and intelligent. I have admired her work ethics since day one. Lori taught me so much as a nursing student soon to be nurse, she also had words of wisdom for me as a new mother after I married and had children. Her knowledge of nursing practice also contributed and helped strengthened my nursing experience when she worked on my unit in managing patient care. She taught me so much, I will never forget her encouraging and uplifting words and character she shared with me whenever I saw her. I will miss her. Having Lori in my life has truly been an honor.

Lori was the epitome of what a nurse should be. She was not only a great asset to the many many nurses who worked with her, but to physicians as well. I received guidance from Lori quite often, and her wisdom and kindness never failed. She was a pillar of Lawrence Hospital and I will remember her goodness always.
Lori was an intelligent and caring nurse and human being. She was one of the first nurses I met on joining the staff at Lawrence Hospital in 1978 and we remained friendly as she went forward in her career culminating in quality assurance. Lori was a beautiful and loving person as well as a loving and caring nurse. I had the good fortune of
knowing her as a colleague at Lawrence Hospital and also as a great support to my Mother and my
family when my Mom was a patient at the hospital. Lori had the ability to put one at ease with her
sincere concern and kindness to those in need of her professional help. she always made me feel proud of being a nurse. To know Lorraine was to love her; may she have eternal rest in the arms of
Our Lord.
When I met Lori at Lawrence Hospital over 40yrs ago I was amazed at her professionalism, enthusiasm, and love of nursing. Any question a nurse would have was always answered with respect and knowledge base. Over the years she has had multiple role changes within Lawrence Hospital. With these changes she never wavered from her professionalism and continued love of nursing. In 2000, she encouraged me to join the Case Management Dept which I did. She mentored me at all times. One year we gave Lori a Christmas present of a Star named after her. I was called the Lady Astor after her impeccable dress at all times. So I encourage you all, when you feel low, or need encouragement, just look above to the sky, and the brightest star will be The Lady Astor giving you warmth, direction, and love.! I will miss her tremendously.
