Antoinette “Anne” Filardo
Antoinette Filardo “Anne” of Crestwood, died on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2017. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday, on November 20th. Anne was the beloved wife of the late Prospero “Peter” Filardo. She was the wonderful and loving mother of her three children Peter Filardo, Mary F. Codispoti (Larry), and the late Ronald Filardo (Lucille). She was proud grandmother of Theresa Jahn (Jesse), Anthony Filardo (Maria), Christopher Filardo (Kim), Steven Filardo (Cassie), Emily Codispoti and Andy Codispoti. Anne was blessed with four great-grandchildren Erin, Mia, Sheila, and Piper. She was the sister of the late Armand D’Arienzo (Fran). Anne resided in her own home in Crestwood for 52 years. She resided at The Sunrise of Crestwood Assisted Living for the past almost four years. Anne had a career as an extremely successful real estate broker in the local area for over 40 years and was the owner of Anne Filardo Real Estate. She was very active with the Annunciation Church Ladies of Charity, the Bronxville Women’s Club, and the local Republican Club. The family will receive friends at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM, on Friday, September 8th. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Annunciation Church, Crestwood, on Saturday, September 9th, at 10 AM. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson.
