Neil Charles Grogan died peacefully on March 27, 2026 surrounded by family members. Neil was born on October 27, 1958 to Margaret and John Grogan.
He attended Holy Family Grammer School and Mayflower public school before graduating from Karafin High School in Mt. Kisco. After graduating, he worked as a porter at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City for 20+ years.
Neil was an avid sports fan who rooted for the Seatle Seahawks, Los Angeles Dodgers and Norte Dame but his true passion was love of children. He was extremely involved in Holy Family CYO basketball, often running the scoreboard for many coaches. Little league Baseball in New Rochelle and Point Lookout always brought a smile to his face. He was the uncle to 16 nieces and nephews, great-uncle to 10 nieces and nephews. and godfather to Sean, John, and Katie. He was often referred to as “Coach” by many of his friends and was
“Uncle Neil” to all. He had an oversized personality that often left a lasting impression on people. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Neil’s name to New Rochelle Little League, Point Lookout Little League or Holy Family CYO Basketball.
