Yolanda Gallardo of Bronxville, NY passed away on April 8, 2024. She was 81 years old. The daughter of the late Edward and Grace Gallardo; she was born on October 6, 1942 in New York, NY. Yolanda is predeceased by her beloved siblings Joan, Silvana, and Edward, and her partner of 60 years, Dorothy Roggio..
Yolanda is survived by her nephews Edward (Michelle) Marin, Christopher (Christine) Marin, and her niece, Erika (James) Gomez. Yolanda is also survived by her great-niece, Samantha Marin, and great-nephews, Nicholas Marin and Christopher Marin, Jr.
A Navy veteran and talented author, Yolanda loved her family and friends, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered with a smile and missed forever.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, located at 129 E Birch Street, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552.

April 15, 2024 at 11:19 amSuch sad news. Yolanda and Dottie were fixtures at our Bronx River Road complex. Back in the day, Yolanda would walk with Dottie to the train station and in more recent years, it was a daily walk up to CVS. Always with great senses of humor and pleasant conversations. I believe they were the longest residents in my building. It is going to be hard not seeing them. Rest in peace.
