We offer three cremation options; each can be modified to meet your needs:
Traditional Cremation Services: These are much like a traditional funeral. A visitation can take place prior to a funeral service at the funeral home. After the funeral service rather then going to the cemetery for a burial, the deceased is brought to the crematory. The family has the option to travel in procession to the crematory or have everything end at the place of the service. Once the cremation has occurred, the cremated remains are returned to the family. You can then decide to scatter, bury, or retain the cremated remains in an urn.
Direct cremation: A Direct Cremation is when the cremation takes place before any services are held. There is no formal visitation or service and no embalming is required.
Direct Cremation with Services after
Many times after a Direct Cremation has taken place families wish to have some form of service, such as a Memorial gathering. This can occur at any time after the cremation process. The urn, photos, mementos, Military Honors or all can be on display at the service, which can take place in any setting preferred by the family. (Please see Memorial Service)
