Frank J. Ryan passed away on Sept. 1, 2008 at the age of 86. He was born in Mt. Vernon on July 20, 1922 to Mary Callan and Frank V. Ryan. Mr. Ryan retired in 1991 as an executive of Ray Rasal and Petro Oil Co. During WWII he served with the Navy in the South Pacific. He was a graduate of Iona Prep School and Iona College. He was a member of the Larchmont Shore Club for 47 years. Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife Gloria whom he married on June 5, 1949. He is also survived by his son Frank J. Ryan Jr, his daughter- in law Jane Ryan and the love of his life granddaughter Lauren Marie Ryan. Visitation at McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass Friday 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, Mayflower Ave, New Rochelle. Internment will follow at Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester, NY.
