A very gentle but influential man has seen his time on earth come to an end but Mr George Stewart will never be forgotten by me or anyone in my family. I first met Mr Stewart some 30 years ago at Bucknell when Kevin and I were freshman – his calm and easygoing manner combined with his sense of humor were something that drew me to him. My parents and I had the great opportunity to get to know him and the entire family over which he served as patriarch and there were many special times we shared. He treated my parents and family with such great regard that it was always easy to be in his company. Even recently when he may not have been feeling his best, he never forgot to ask about my parents and entire family which is a testament to his character. Thank you for everything Mr Stewart! You have earned your reward in heaven which is sure to be great.
