Angelina Signorini 

Angelina (Lina) Signorini passed away at home on August 21, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born on January 1, 1922 to Maria (Delnevo) and Ernesto Dellapina in a small town in Northern Italy. She is the beloved wife of the late Eugene (Gino), cherished mother of John (Linda) and Monica (Angelo) DeLaurentis, the loving grandmother of Eugene, Lara, Kathryn and Kristin and great-grandmother of Amanda, Trey, Aidan, Dylan and Avery. For most of her life, she was a “stay at home” mom but from 1973 to 2002 she worked as a seamstress and bridal consultant at Marstelle’s Bridal Salon in the Bronx helping brides choose the perfect dress for their special day. Angelina and her husband enjoyed travelling and their weekly bus rides to Atlantic City; but most importantly, she enjoyed being with her family. Visiting hours will be held at McGrath’s funeral home, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville on Friday, September 11th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 A.M. on Saturday, September 12th at St. Joseph’s Church , 15 Cedar Street, Bronxville. Due to Covid, church occupancy is limited and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: the Alzheimer’s Association (www.act.alz.org ), The Academy of Mount St. Ursula (www.amsu.org/donationpage) or Green Chimneys (www.greenchimneys.org) .
