The family is heartbroken to report the passing of Eugenia (Jean) Crescenzo Petrone on April 03, 2015. Eugenia was born to Filomenia and Girolamo Crescenzo on August 17, 1913. Eugenia joyfully celebrated her 101st birthday in August with her adoring family. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, jewelry and knick knacks. She valued spending quality loving time with her family, more than ever celebrating holidays surrounded by her loved ones. She was a passionate cook who took pleasure in making Italian specialties for her family in particular meatballs, sausage, stuffed artichokes and pasta e fagioli. Eugenia never missed an episode of her favorite television show Dancing with the Stars.Eugenia has been blissfully reunited in Heaven with the love of her life Michael Petrone Sr. who predeceased her in 1996. Eugenia and Michael spent fifty-eight magnificent years together in Mount Vernon, NY and Fort Lauderdale FL.  She was also predeceased by her caring five brothers Louis, Danny, Anthony, Benjamin, Alfonse, and a sister Fanny. Eugenia was the devoted and beloved mother of Cosmo (Christine) Petrone, Gail (Louis) Satriale, and her twin children Michael (Nikki) Petrone and Michele (William) Zicaro. Cosmo and William predeceased Eugenia and are missed every day by their loving families. Eugenia was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, Tina Ann Palermo, Cosmo, Michael, and Cheryl Petrone, Louis, Anthony, Christopher Satriale and Jennifer (Satriale) Weitman, Amy (Petrone) Duncan, Stacey (Petrone) Hoffman, Brian and Marc Zicaro. Eugenia joyously celebrated a common birthday each year with her first grandson Louis. Eugenia was the loving great grandmother of twenty great grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Jonathan, Kristy, Jessica, Amanda, Michael, Gregory, Robert, John, Christopher, Nicholas, Matthew, Ryan, Scott, Kevin, Sean, Luca, Bryce, and Brayden. Eugenia was the loyal great great grandmother of Anna Marie. Eugenia’s impressive life will be celebrated with a wake service at the Fred H. McGrath and Son, Funeral Home,  20 Cedar Street Bronxville, NY on Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 5:00-9:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 Cedar Street Bronxville, NY on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 9:45AM.
