Petrillo, Joshua Peter May 5, 1952 - June 20, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Joshua Petrillo announces his passing on June 20, 2018. Josh died peacefully in his home in South Salem at the age of 66, surrounded by his loving family, his devoted wife Maryann of 20 years, his son Adam, daughter in law Amanda, granddaughter Genevieve and Josh’s three sisters, Victoria and husband Jay Gilbert, Linda Siris and Betty Feinman and one brother Louis and wife Antonia. Josh will be forever remembered by his cousin and partner Charlie and wife Rinda Petrillo and cousins Paul Petrillo and Andrew Petrillo. Josh will also be Lovingly remembered by his two brother in laws, Frank Servidio and wife Carol and John Servidio and wife Cindy. His seven nieces Victoria, Jennifer, Stephanie, Lily, Helin, Jamie and Alexandra and seven nephews Curtis, Frank, Paul, Mark, John, Louis and Christopher. Josh was predeceased by his parents Joshua and Helen Petrillo. Josh was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, graduated Mt. Vernon High School and attended Nichols College in Massachusetts. Josh was a Business owner and Consultant at Petrillo Contracting in Mt. Vernon. Josh loved boating and just being on the water. He also loved riding his Harley and fast cars, but above all, he treasured his family and he will be greatly missed. His wife Maryann wants to thank their family, friends and the doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital especially Dr. Mariza Daras for all their beautiful thoughts, support, many prayers and excellent care. Special thanks to Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco and Hospice and Special thanks to Dr. Deanna Sandor.Memorial Donations in memory of Joshua Petrillo can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at www.giving.mskcc.org or to the Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco atwww.nwhconnect.org. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home, 20 Cedar Street Bronxville, on Friday, June 29, 2018, 5pm-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 Cedar Street Bronxville, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 9:45am.   Interment to follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Highway, New Rochelle, N.Y. 10801

    Such fond memories of our many years as neighbors, talking about our neighborhood, yards, cars and many commonalities. The boat rides and meals together are all cherished times. Our prayers & blessings to Maryann and the family as we remember such a wonderful man, who left us too soon.

    Josh was my former brother in law. He had such a great sense of humor. I remember how much he loved his cars and boats. Especially the old Buick!
