Pappas, Angeline March 5, 1927 - February 8, 2023

Angeline Pappas of Eastchester on February 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Peter, Sr.  Loving mother of Peter (Katharine). Devoted Grandmother of Nicholas and Sophia, Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Born in Camden, NY in 1927 to Christos and Helen Zourdos.  Attended PS 16 in the Bronx and then graduated from Walton High School in 1945.  After high school she worked at Linder Oldsmobile on Bronx  Boulevard as an office administrator until she married Peter Pappas in 1963.  In 1979 she went to work with her husband Peter and brother Harry C. Zourdos at Maguires Restaurant, in Mamaroneck, NY until its closing in 2005.   She then enjoyed her retired life spending much time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 3 to 7 pm Monday. Funeral Mass at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, New Rochelle, on Tuesday, February 14, at 10am.  In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 10 Mill Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10804
