Paul Edward Neubelt passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was surrounded by love, warmth, and support from his dear wife of 49 years, Renée Marie Neubelt, as well as his beloved daughters Nicole Renée Neubelt-Callegari and Michele Marie Lugosch. Born in Jersey City, NJ on June 15, 1941, Paul graduated from high school in Jersey City and went on to Seton Hall University. His accounting degree helped him to develop a thriving, meaningful career while also allowing his family to travel and experience diverse cultures and people from around the world. He practiced international accounting in Germany, Holland, and Italy—first with Ernst & Young, and later with BDO Seidman. Before retirement, Paul led the China region in Shanghai. A longtime resident of Bronxville, NY, Paul served as a member of the Board of Governors of the New York Athletic Club. He also held positions on the boards of City Harvest and Seton Hall University. Paul E. Neubelt leaves behind his wife Renée M. Neubelt, and daughters Nicole R. Neubelt-Callegari and Michele M. Lugosch, as well as four beloved grandchildren: Charlotte, Joseph, Charlie, and James. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother. In the immediate aftermath, some family members and close friends took part in a funeral mass. In the coming months, the family will invite friends and loved ones to join them for a Memorial and Celebration of Life. May God bless Paul.
