June 4, 2021 at 11:41 pmWe will miss talking with Mary after mass at Annunciation church. Even though I lived in an apartment building next to hers in the Bronx, I did not get to know Mary till she moved to Crestwood. Mary is one of the finest and kindest ladies I have ever known. Our sorrow is tempered by the knowledge that she has returned home to the Lord, her beloved John and family. God rest her soul.

June 9, 2021 at 12:25 amJohn,
On behalf of the McGowans, we wish eternal life and happiness to your mom.
What an incredible woman with a great spirit and smile and love for life. I know you are incredibly thankful for having such a loving mom and you are and have been an incredible son to her.
One of the most powerful, deepest, richest, significant and life-affirming words in the world is a short three letter word is Mom. God bless your mom John and all that met her and knew her are so very grateful.
Sincerely,
Joe McGowan
