Nardella, Ramona July 26, 1928 - October 20, 2018

Ramona Nardella passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2018.  Born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, Ramona graduated from high school and pursued a career with TWA – Trans World Airlines.  During her 40+ years with TWA, Ramona traveled over 750,000 miles in the air and crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans by cruise ship.  Ramona was truly a cosmopolitan woman ahead of her time.  When she wasn’t traveling, Ramona could often be found playing golf throughout Westchester County. Ramona was the second born child of Ralph and Rosa Nardella and was predeceased by her older sister Rachele and younger brother Ralph, who everyone affectionately called “Ralphy.”  Ramona fondly recalled the summers spent at the Jersey Shore with her siblings and the good times they had growing up.  In their later years, Rachele and Ramona were often found shopping at Lord & Taylors and having lunch together, they were inseparable.  Ramona truly enjoyed spending time with her sister.  Ramona was the beloved Aunt of Alberto Gavasci II (wife, Elizabeth) and Piva Fetter (husband, Gerry).   In addition, Ramona is survived by her grandniece Noelle Beale (husband, Theodore) and her grandnephews Thomas Spinelli and Christian Gavasci, great grandnephew Teddy Beale and great grandniece Allison Beale.  Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville on Wednesday, October 24 at 9:45am.
