Robert Joseph McCann
Robert (Bob) Joseph McCann age 70, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died at home on November 3rd, 2022. He was born on February 10th, 1952. He is survived by his loving children, William and Hayley McCann as well as his beautiful grandson Otis Errickson and former wife Joan. Also his sister Mary Anne Boyd, and 6 brothers, Jim, Michael, William, Christopher, Denis, and Brian McCann. His 59 nieces and nephews will miss him dearly. Bob follows to the Lord his loving parents, John Patrick and Christine Russell McCann and his 3 brothers, Jack Jr., Timothy, and Ralph, and his niece Mary Christine Boyd.
Bob graduated from New Rochelle High School and Iona College. He was an accomplished carpenter, artist, and avid fly fisherman. He was a source of guidance and inspiration for his family and an untold number of friends. He devoted a good portion of his life helping others to find sobriety through his dedication to the Rooms. He loved them and the people he met there.
The family will receive visitors at Fred H. McGrath & Sons Bronxville, NY on Thursday, Jan5 from 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church in New Rochelle at 10:30am Friday, Jan6.
