Patrick Joseph Marrinan, of Crestwood, NY, passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2015. He was 82 years old, born July 25, 1932 in New York City to Patrick and Anne (Shannon) Marrinan. He graduated from All Hallows High School in 1949, and from Fordham University in 1953. He served on active duty in the United States Army from 1954 to 1955. He continued his education thereafter and received an MBA degree in 1959 from New York University. He married his wife Joan on May 7, 1955. His professional life was devoted to a series of executive marketing positions with IBM, Smith-Corona, and most notably AT&T. He also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Marketing at CUNY, where he taught for 18 years. He is survived by his wife Joan, sons Patrick (and wife Joan) of Bronxville, NY, Kevin (and wife Susan) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Edward (and wife Holly) of Bronxville, Peter (and wife Mary Ellen) of Crestwood, grandsons Brian and Ted, granddaughters Morgan, Jane, Kristen, Katherine and Charlotte, his brother James (and wife Cynthia) of Rockville, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. His entire extended family and their friends will forever miss Pat’s warm and endearing ways, his smile, and the constant pleasure of his company. Visiting hours will be held Monday February 16th from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM at Fred H McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville. Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday February 17th at 10AM at Annunciation Church, Crestwood. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
