JOSEPHINE MAROTTA

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of our dear mother, Josephine Marotta.  Josephine passed away on Friday, August 12,2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Marotta, devoted mother of  Maria (Alex), Julie (Christopher), John (Jeanne), Anthony (Jennifer) and Sandra (Marco). Adoring grandmother of Marco, Chris, Serena, Alessandra,GianLuca,Isabella,Gianna,Josiah,JoyElena and Luca. Josephine’s strength, courage, and words of reassurance always made everything better. She was the foundation of our family and our father’s rock.  She loved her family dearly. She was kind, intelligent, selfless and always there for her family. Josephine was a men’s tailor by profession, but with her excellent skills  and ingenious creativity- there was nothing that she could not do with a needle and thread. She was a well-loved member of the community. Her closest  friend’s always said that she had ‘hands of gold’.
