Anna Marie Maloney was born in the Bronx on October 3rd, 1936 and passed away on September 27th, 2018. She married Charles Edward Maloney Sr. in June of 1956 and was married until his passing in 2011. Anna is survived by her son Charles and her daughter Theresa. She is also survived by her eldest sister and lifelong companion, Mary Theresa Ford. She also had a brother, Charles Francis and a sister, Sarah Josephine both deceased. Anna is also survived by 6 grandchildren: John, Anthony, Nicole, Kevin, Michele and Allison. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren: Sophia, Charlize, Lucy, Brody, Jackson, Oliver, Luca and Allora. Anna’s family meant the world to her. She was a very loving and generous person with a great sense of humor. Everyone that knew her would laugh and smile whenever she was around. A lifelong New Yorker, she spent most of her summers at the shore…at her beloved Rockaway Beach. Anna will be waked at McGrath’s Funeral Home in Bronxville on Monday, October 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bronxville on Tuesday, October 2nd at 10:45 am.
