Umberto Malfa, of Manhattan, NY, died on March 23, 2015. He was 85 years of age. Umberto was the beloved husband of Marilyn Malfa, loving father of Richard and Christopher Malfa. Umberto was also a loving father-in-law to Jessica Malfa and Gene Gardino. After serving as a captain in the Air Force during the Korean War, Umberto began a long distinguished career with a major defense contractor, retiring as the head of thepublications department. Umberto was a unique, kind and loving man who always had time to help all his friends and family. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 10 am to 1 pm, Friday, March 27. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
