Rest In Peace, Missy. I will always remember our time together, first in our school years, later in our work days, eventually sharing our class reunions, and finally in the last year when we laughed and talked together so much. “To live in hearts we leave behind is not too die.”

Dear Missy, I know you are finally at peace. You were my best friend growing up all through grammar school at St. Euguene’s and then going to high school together at Ursuline. I can clearly remember all the pranks and kickball games we had in our yard and how Jimmy used to tease you. Also all the times we ran for the bus in Tuckahoe so we could connect with the bus at Eastchester to get to Ursuline on time. You were always able to run faster than me. I always envied all the “Gold Bows” you got in school. I can’t remember if I ever even got one. We lost touch after high school but came together again at reunions. I was always so happy to hear all the news about the Murtaugh family. You were always bright, energetic, had a merry laugh, look in your eye and were up for fun. I am so sorry about your stroke and the circumstances surrounding it but I know you are again united in love with your beloved mom, Grandma Coupe, Dad and your husband. I always remember your birthday because I always mix it up with my sister Sheila’s whose Bday is 2 days after yours. I wish I could be there in person to say goodbye but I now live in Central Florida but know I will dial in to your service to say goodbye. Rest in peace my dear friend. I know you are in heaven. Please watch over all of us. Love Eileen
