STEPHENS—John  Joseph, 83.  Loving husband for 60 years to Anna Stephens, father to Nicholas,  John Jr. (deceased) and Thomas (deceased), father-in-law to Lisa Kunstadter.  Devoted grandfather to Zack and Ricky.  Born February 16, 1928, earned degrees from the University of Kentucky and Youngstown State, attended VMI during his military service (Army) from 1945 to 1947.  Worked at U.S. Steel, an early consulting partner at Arthur Andersen, president of Kleinert’s Inc., group v.p. at International Paper, president and CEO of Roseburg Forest products.  Member of the board of  Western Bank of Oregon.  After his retirement he was involved in many  philanthropic endeavors and civic groups such as Kiwanis and Rotary Club, where he was president of the Bronxville, NY chapter.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org).  A viewing will take place at McGrath funeral home in Bronxville on Wednesday February 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Service will be in Ohio with internment next to his two sons.
