Roth, John Henry April 24, 2024

John Henry Roth, died the morning of August 13, 2011 in the loving embrace of his family members after a 20 year battle with Alzheimer’s. He was a lifelong resident of Yonkers and served as a lector and usher at the Church of St. Bartholomew’s for 64 years, where he was also President of the Holy Name Society. Mr. Roth served during WWII with the US Navy. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Roth and seven children; Suzanne Caba, Gary, Cathy Tufo, William, Thomas, John and James; as well as thirteen grandchildren. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 3 to 6 PM Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Yonkers on Tuesday August 16 at 10AM.
