I was a student of this most generous and delightful of teachers as an undergraduate at Fordham in the 1960s’. I remember when his PhD was lofty was conferred and how proud I felt for him on reaching that lofty acadewmic plateau. He was always friendly and encouraging. His enthusiasm for his subject was contagious. I thoroughly enjoyed him and his classes so very much. I am listening to an album of the Spanish tenor, Alfrtedo Kraus, and remembering, with love and gratitude this wonderful human being.Que descanse en paz.
I met “Bud” many years ago in Harwich. He was a kind man from my childhood memories. My Mom and his Mom were best friends. Lynn and Leo Hoar lived next door to my family home in Harwich. So sorry to hear about this. I have some cute stories about your family. Eleanor Pannesi
