Ann McElroy Grealy, on October 30, 2014. Ann McElroy Grealy, a resident of Bronxville, New York, for the last 20 years and earlier, the Crestwood section of Yonkers for 35 years, passed away at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, after a short illness.  Ann was pre-deceased by her parents, Molly and Jim McElroy; her brothers, Frank and Eugene; and her husband, Martin R. Grealy, an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  Ann is survived by five siblings, Peggy Schum (Harry) and Agnes Hagan (Bob), and Jim (Pat), Jack (Virginia) and Ed McElroy; her six children Christine Brown (Ray Daly), Eileen Taylor (Jim), Nancy Houlihan (Chris), Martin Grealy Jr. (also named Brother Rufino, F.B.E.), Timothy Grealy (Kathy) and Mary Murray (Michael); her 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as four generations of many cousins. A 1941 graduate of Cathedral High School, Manhattan, Ann worked at several organizations in Manhattan in the ‘40s before becoming a devoted mother and grandmother, and part-time at Barhite & Holzinger, Bronxville, during the ‘60s and ‘70s.  For 55 years, she was a parishioner of Annunciation Church in Crestwood, where she was active in many organizations, notably the Ladies of Charity. She was also an active member of Bronxville Women’s Club for many years. The calling hours will be held at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville on Sunday, November 2, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mas of Christian Burial Annunciation Church on Monday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
