Mary T. Gormley of  Crestwood, NY, died on December 19, 2013. Born on August 30, 1928 in New York City, NY to the late Anne and Joseph Donohue. She attended Ascension Grammar School, Blessed Sacrament Academy and Fordham University.On September 17, 1949 she married John Gormley at Ascension Church in Manhattan. Mrs. Gormley worked for many years as a Client Liason for Eastern Airlines. She served as Commissioner for Hillcrest Lakers C.C. and  was a member of several Parish Counsels for The Church of the Annunciation in Crestwood, where she has been a parishioner since 1962. She was a founding member of the Lower Westchester Right to Life and a Committee Person for the Right to Life Political Party. She was the recipient of the St. Michael the Archangel Award presented by The Catholic Coalition of Westchester, for her Pro-Life and Social Activism and her unwavering defense of the unborn. She is survived by her children, Karen Gormley-Vitale of Somers, NY, John J. Gormley of Wyckoff, NJ and Anne Gormley-Lancaster of Wyckoff, NJ. She is also survived by her daughter –in-laws, Donna Gormley and Elizabeth Martin and son-in-laws, Pat Martin and Brian Lancaster, as well as her 13 grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Mary Grace, Thomas, John, Ryan, Brian, Luke, Chelsea, Kristin, Peter, Aidan and Katera. Her husband , John of 51 years, predeceased her in 2000 as well as her daughter, Mary Gormley-Martin in 1990. Her parents and siblings, Kay, Eleanor and Joe have been waiting for her in Heaven.  Visiting hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Saturday and  3 to 6 pm Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial, The Church of the Annunciation on Monday Dec. 23 at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Pregnancy Care Center, 466 Main Street, New Rochelle, NY 10801 and the Elinor Martin Residence, 86 Mayflower Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
