Gomprecht, Paul J. June 7, 1960 - April 23, 2023

Paul James Gomprecht, of Yonkers, New York passed away peacefully on April 23 from complications after a kidney transplant. Paul was the son of Robert Feeley Gomprecht, M.D., and Kathleen Welch Gomprecht and was born at Misericordia Hospital on June 7, 1960 – he lived a fantastic life. Paul grew up in Bronxville, New York and graduated from Bronxville High School in 1978 and he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. After school, Paul educated himself in various service businesses and ultimately started his own company. Paul is survived by the love of his life, Lisa Blendermann. They were married June 17, 2000.  Paul loved their time together and always doted on her. Paul lived life to its fullest and enjoyed his time with family and friends.  Paul was an avid and talented bowler and enjoyed golf. He loved dogs, especially Guinness, his itinerant black lab mix. He was a founding partner in Absolute Comfort HVAC Services and built a successful business over the last twenty years.  Paul was a proud member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and looked forward to the camaraderie and good times at their annual dinner.

Paul is survived by his wife Lisa, his mother Kathleen Gomprecht, his mother-in-law Vera Blendermann, his in-laws Dara and Larry Casey, his siblings, Robert Gomprecht (Alanna), Jane Gomprecht, Ann Skrzypczak, Ellen Gomprecht  Reich (Doug) and was the beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours at Fred H. McGrath & Son , Funeral Home, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville NY are Saturday April 29 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm followed by a Memorial from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm.

    Sending Lisa and all Paul’s family and close friends sincere condolences.
    Last time we remember seeing Paul and Lisa was at Roma’s in Tuckahoe. He always had a laugh to share. RIP Paul.
