Frank Lovascio (Chop), formerly of Queens, passed away on May 6, 2011.
Frank was one of the proprietors of the Queens Village Beer and Beverage Company in Queens Village New York. During World War II he served in the United States Army, and was a Prisoner of War in Stalag II B in Germany. Frank was an avid baseball player and NY Yankees fan. He is pre-deceased by his wife Frances (Dee) his mother Maria, his father Pasquale and brothers Michael and Joseph. He is survived by his daughters Maria (Robert) and JoAnn (Jack) his grandchildren Christian (Nancy) and Chelsea, great grandchildren Julia and Riley, his brother Vito (Willie) and sister Martha. Visitation will be held at the Fred H. McGrath& Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday. Mass of Christian burial St. Josephs Church Bronxville, on Tuesday May 10 at 11 am.
