Cummins, Isabelle C. February 28, 1928 - November 25, 2022

Isabelle C. Cummins of Bronxville passed away on November 25, 2022. The eldest child of George W. and Hanna Maher Cummins, she was born at home in Yonkers, NY, on February 28, 1928. She was raised and educated in Yonkers, graduating from St. Denis Grammar School and Blessed Sacrament HS. Years later as an adult, she returned to school and graduated with honors from New York University. Isabelle began her career at The Monroe Company in Manhattan. The majority of her career was spent in the executive offices of The American Express Company, RJR Nabisco, and IBM, where she was the administrative assistant to the CEO. She traveled the world for business and pleasure, but her greatest joy was her family, both here and abroad. She is predeceased by her sister, Eileen Schmidt, her brother George, and her parents. She is survived by her three nieces and their families: Barbara Schmidt Mora of White Plains, Denise Ray of Dahlonega,GA  and Joan Schmidt Trehy of Inverness FL.

Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 4 to 8pm Friday, December 2, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 3, 2022 at 9:45am.

    It was always a pleasure to see Isabelle at family functions. Isabelle was always cheerful,. witty and most of all kind. She will be missed by all. With deepest sympathy.

    Isabelle will always be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all her “Family “ here at 900. She was a kind, sweet , gentle soul and a dear friend to all who knew her and especially to me. May she rest in Peace.
