Gertrude Costello passed peacefully on December 26, 2015. She was 80 years old. Dear sister of John Costello and Maryann Costello, she is pre-deceased by her sisters Margaret Coughlin and Frances Norton. A life-long resident of the Bronx, Gertrude found happiness in the last nine years living in Bronxville, NY. During her career she worked at the New York Telephone Company and Morgan Stanley. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St., Bronxville, between the hours of 4 to 7 pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Bronxville, NY on Wednesday December 30 at 10:45 am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
