Mary Lillian Conti, age 100 of Yonkers, NY, passed away on February 10, 2021 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in the Bronx on July 31, 1920, Mary Conti, known as, “Mae” and “Sis,” was a resident of Yonkers for over 60 years. She began her career at MetLife and worked her way up the ranks. She was also an active member of St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, NY.
Mae was well known in the Bronxville Community. She loved to tell stories of the fun times she had in her younger years. She was a funny, kind, caring, loving, and giving person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She always said that helping others helped her sleep at night. Her smile and sense of humor always lit up the room.
Mae leaves behind mother and son neighbors who were like family to her, Barbara and Anthony Parker; her nieces and nephews Joseph (Kim) Conti, Robert (Monica) Conti, Gail Meredith, and Jo Ann Steuve; and great nieces and nephews.
