Arthur B. Colligan of Yonkers, NY died on August 28, 2015 at age 88. Born to Arthur B. and Florence (Darraugh) Colligan, he is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Jean Barrett Colligan, his sister, Florence Mahoney, his children, Arthur, Ann McEvily (Patrick), and Mary McShane (Thomas) and his grandchildren, Katie, Patrick and Claire McEvily and Thomas and Elizabeth McShane. Arthur graduated from Regis High School (’44), the College of the Holy Cross (’49) and Fordham University School of Law (’52). He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Arthur practiced as an attorney for the Allstate Insurance Company in the appellate department for more than 40 years. Faithful to his church, he served as an usher since moving to Annunciation parish in 1969. His St. Patrick’s Day birthday was very special to him. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 4 to 7 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Church of the Annunciation, Yonkers, NY at 11am Monday August 31. Interment to follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
