Carter, Henry m. August 24, 1949 - March 20, 2021

Our community sadly mourns the passing of Mr. Henry M. Carter, born in Lower Buxton, St. Ann, Jamaica, W.I. to Rupert Samuel Carter and Elizabeth Mary Carter. He had resided for several years in Bronxville, New York.  Mr. Carter received many citations and awards for his work at Java Holdings, was highly recognized in his own business career, Sales Booster, LLC, and was an active member of the All Islands Association based in Mt. Vernon, NY. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from CUNY Baruch College in 1976 and a Master of Business Administration from Fordam University in 1980.  A viewing of the deceased, following strict CDC guidelines, will be held at Fred H McGrath & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 20 Cedar Street, Bronxville, NY 10708 on Sunday March 28, 2021 between 2pm and 6pm [viewing starts at 2pm and service starts at 4:30pm]. Mr. Carter’s body will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave (Jackson Ave at, Saw Mill River Rd), Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706 on Monday March 29, 2021 at 1pm.  Mr. Carter is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Icilma, his sons Devon and Ron and his daughter Robyn as well as siblings Lilith Carter, Norman Carter, Prudence Wisdom, Lizeth Oliver and Junior Carter-James.  Henry was predeceased by Carmen Petrekin (his twin sister) and Norma Passley.
