Chuck and I have so many memories of being with you both, before marriage and afterward. We cherish our friendship through all the years, and we thank God for you. Jo, I want to offer you a quotation from St. John Chrisostom, an early Church Father whom Guy would have “known”. Perhaps he really knows him now, in Blessed Eternity?? Quotation: “Those whom we have loved and lost are no longer where they were before, but wherever we are now.” We send our love and continued prayer. Christine & Chuck

Chuck and I cherish our memories with you and Guy! Your special place in our lives endures, and we thank God for you both. I want to share a quotation with you from St. John Chrisostom, as I remember it. He was an early Church Father, and Guy might have been familiar with him. Quotation: “Those whom we have loved and lost are no longer where they were, but wherever we are now.” That quotation has helped me, and I hope that it helps you, Jo.
We send our love and continual prayer, Christine & Chuck

Dear Joann, I am truly heartbroken by this loss. I really thought that he would of fought back and walked again. Now he is in a better place where he is in no more pain and discomfort. I am sure that he will be looking down at you and his family. When you all think of him I am sure that they are all wonderful and happy memories and will bring a smile upon your faces. I remember all the fun times that we shared together. He was always the life of the party. When I stopped skating you & guy were the people, I missed the most. I was so glad that Michael & I had the pleasure of visiting with you both at your home. I am sorry that we will not be able to come to his service however, I will be praying for you and your family. Please give him a kiss for me… God Bless you all!

    Joann,
I’m saddened to hear about Guy’s passing. There was never a day when we worked together that we didn’t laugh. There also was never a day that I didn’t get a religious sermon. Guy always lit up the room and was special to everyone he touched. God bless you and your family.

My wife Mary also knew him from the Prep dances we attended. Our condolences to you. Guy was a fine example of a Prep product,a Jesuit education, as we say in DC. “A Man for Others”

Guy will always be remembered for his explosive energy and infectious smile. He loved life as he loved his family — without limits. Running into him at the store, church or bakery always resulted in a lengthy conversation, plenty of laughs and long speeches on the virtues of a Jesuit education. I suspect he is setting things straight right now with St Ignatius Loyola. He will be missed by all of us.
