January 21, 2022 at 5:04 pmBetty, you were the first person who taught me how to combine theory and good nature to students. It was a pleasure to be next to you each school day. It all started with the 8th grade trips to Washington and ended with calls to each other at home. Thank you for your wisdom and wit.

January 23, 2022 at 8:38 amBetty, you are so loved by everyone, especially your family. I will miss all are chats together on the phone. Because of all your trips I was able to see so much of Europe, We always had so many laughs together and I always loved when you said something to people joking around when you really did not even know them. My heart is broken by losing such a kind, funny and caring friend. RIP my friend until we meet again.

July 15, 2022 at 8:19 amIt’s been over forty years, yet I still think of you–and your lessons–with fondness from time to time. That’s the hallmark of a great educator. Tough yet compassionate, you had high expectations paired with immeasurable patience. Your legacy is assured, and your memory always cherished. Thank you.
