Kevin B. Barrett, 74 of Bronxville, NY passed away on July 22, 2022. Beloved son of Harry and May Barrett. Beloved husband of Joanne (Murphy) for almost 50 years. Beloved father of Sean, KC (Becky), Meghan and Brendan. Adored grandfather of Kailie. Survived by brothers Harry, John, Tom, Brian Barrett and sister Maureen King. Predeceased by Brothers Patrick, James, Michael Barrett and sisters Jean Hickey, Nancy McGuire and Theresa Barrett. Loved by many nieces and nephews and by countless friends. He was a hard working guy. Prior owner of the Barrett’s Welcome Inn, Bronx NY. He planned many bar bus trips and supported many sports teams from the bar including the “Red Team”. He also owned a vending machine business called The Nutty Kernal, he was a hot dog man and of course a Sandhog with Local 147 for many years. He always lent a helping hand to all. He ran 3 marathons. He was the champion arm wrestler of the Bronx. He loved the oldies. He loved the Yankees and the Giants. But most of all he loved his family. He made life good.
