Arthur “Otto” Vasso, of Bronxville on February 14, 2011, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Margie.
Devoted father of Diane Capriglione and Karen Galasso. Father-in-law to Sal Capriglione and Joe Galasso. Loving grandfather of Joseph and Kelly. Caring brother of Louise D’Onofrio, Eddie Vasso and the late Tony, Henry, Albert and Alfred Sr. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Otto served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had a great love of cooking, especially pizza and he always left a smile on people’s faces. He treasured spending time with his family and friends and loved outdoor sports like hunting and fishing. His charm, sense of humor and love of life made him a special person to all that knew him. He will be deeply missed. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday, February 16th . Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph’s Church Bronxville on Thursday February 17 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in Arthur’s name, to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-5959.
