Clara Ahearn (nee Marchetti) of Eastchester on November 17, 2015 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Thomas F. Ahearn, Eastchester Police Dept., loving mother of Patricia (William) Mastellon of New Jersey, devoted grandmother of Noreen Mastellon, Meghan (James) Mahon and great grandmother of Caitlin, Brianna and James. She was also predeceased by her parents Anna DiNero and John Marchetti and her 11 siblings. Born and raised in Tuckahoe, she moved to Eastchester in 1943. A very active person she was a teacher at the Hitchcock Presbyterian Nursery School, a tap dancer with the Star Spangled Steppers, a registered Girl Scout for over 70 years and a member of the Veronica’s Guild in her parish. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 4 to 7pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale on Monday, November 23 at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Noreen Mastellon Fund, PO Box 22, Ridgewood, NJ 07451. The mission of this charity is to support adult cancer patients with personal financial needs during their treatments.
