Hawkins, Monroe, a lifelong resident of Bronxville, on March 1, 2010.  Son of the late Ira and Genevieve Hawkins, brother of Ira and the late Charles.  A memorial service will be held at the Reformed Church of Bronxville on Monday March 8 at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Monroe’s favorite charity, the Humane Society of the Untied States,  2100 L St., NW, Washington DC   20037.
